If you prefer home cooking, then this is the place. No frills, just great food that taste like it came from grandma's kitchen.

Delancy's is nice place to go for some solid country cooking. The restaurant is pretty basic with a counter in the middle and tables and booths spread around, nothing fancy. The food is always good and ranges from sandwiches to meatloaf and plenty of vegetable options. The also have daily entree and vegetable specials. Definitely not fine dining but it... More

Have daily specials, plenty of choices for side dishes that don't taste like they are just out of a can. They also offer soup, salads and sandwiches. Love the homemade crackers served with a salad. Friendly service.

Homemade "crackers"; great with almost any cheese and very good with their own pimento cheese. An unexpected local favorite.

I like this restaurant though in many ways it's just an average kind of a place. The atmosphere is kind of cafeteria-like. I always spend a bit more than I expect I'm going to. The food is a bit greasy. But I never fail to enjoy my meal. In many ways this is comfort food for me. Staff are friendly,... More

We were introduced to Delancy's last week at a family function. The food was great and the staff was great. There is a good variety of choices from plates to sandwiches. We recommend the home cooked vegetable plate or the salad plate (homemade chicken salad, potato salad, pasta salad, AND homemade crackers). We would recommend a stop here and everyone... More

We first visited this establishment when it was in downtown Gibsonville, NC. They moved it to a more modern location in Burlington, NC - but its soul and identity have remained the same. At Delancy's, you get home-style country cooking... but with a little bit of upscale feel. For instance, they mix daily specials (Pot Roast, Country-style Steak, Chicken &... More

Delancy's is just a mile or so off the interstate and would be a good choice for any traveler. It's a bit hard to find because it's in a small strip that's somewhat hard to see from the road but put the address in your GPS and you'll be fine. I didn't make notes as to what we ordered but... More

They have a big menu. Lots of vegetables and meats. Daily specials. Decor is nothing fancy, more like a diner. Consistently good. My favorites are the fried green tomatoes, broccoli casserole, fried chicken livers, and chicken pie. My wife likes the chicken fili. Always good and fairly quick at almost a fast food price.
