Love this restaurant. Awesome food. Great service. Try the Baked Brie with apples and caramel sauce....mmmm!
We ate twice at Square Root in a recent trip to Brevard--once for lunch and once for Sunday brunch. The food and service were outstanding, I had a lovely salad and my husband had a delicious burger for lunch. He's very picky about his burgers and said it was one of the best he'd had anywhere. At brunch, he had... More
We thought our food was the best at this restaurant, (we also dined at Jordan St. Cafe, Marcos trattoria, and the Quarry). The trout and salmon were great. We sat at the bar on a quiet Sunday night. Service was fine, not bad but not memorable. I would definitely put this on your list of places to eat, followed by... More
Went here for a Saturday night dinner and enjoyed it immensely. Clientele ranged from college students to senior citizens who looked like they were "old money". Relaxed but romantic atmosphere; they had a acoustic guitar player which set a very nice mood. Lively bar. Very good service; was really surprised to see a couple of bad reviews. Reservations are definitely... More
This was the most memorable dining experience from the food to the service. We traveled 45 min to have dinner after a friend recommended the square root to us. All I can say is that they took such good care of us and there is no place around to get food like this. Our new favorite place.
my friend and I spent a girl's day at Elements Spa in Brevard. We inquired as to a great eatery, and Square Root was suggested. What a find! it's a quirky little spot,in an alley,of all places...this place has a Big City Taste! Good, but small wine list, and I saw great looking martini's being served. We both ordered white wine, and were served a good sized... More
Everything about our experience was wonderful! Had the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly. Triple chocolate cake was sinfully delicious! Great service and atmosphere added to the positive experience. Would highly recommend!!!
Came here for Sunday Brunch. Don't like my eggs burned. Mine were but I had to take the Breakfast Burrito apart to see if there were any unburnt eggs. Nope! Should have never left the kitchen in that shape. Other meals were less than memorable. Also it was a cold morning. Inside the restaurant was also cold. Oh well -... More
We were on vacation and this restaurant was recommended to us by two local store owners. I don't think we would have found it on our own as it is located down an alley, but it was certainly worth it. Our server was excellent, very friendly and helpful. I had a Hawaiian chicken sandwich (teriyaki chicken with grilled pineapple, cheese... More
We eat here often, and are also always confident to direct friends and visitors here! The decor is eclectic, menu varied and delicious, staff friendly and competent, atmosphere casual. Whether dining indoors or out on the covered porch, whether lunch or dinner, or just a meet-up with friends in the bar.... this is a fun place to eat. Sandwiches, great... More
