The food was tasty. The service was unfriendly. We had lamb chops and they were very small in size, like a child portion. The cost of the meal was double that of the Mauritian restaurant up the street. Not a good choice.
We live in T aux B, but haven't been here for a long while as we didn't like the food last time we tried it.
Some visitors from the UK assured us that the food was great, so we gave it another go.
It wasn't a busy night, yet we were ignored until we went to get a waiter -...

the staff here really gave us the impression they couldn't be bothered serving us and the atmosphere was terrible , never went back.
This is my second year of frequenting this restaurant and for good reason. GREAT value for money, food is delicious and service is excellent. Get there early though as it gets busy FAST.
I asked them to customise a dish for me and they did it without hesitation and with a smile. At the end of our meal they comp'd...

nice place in a good location in Troux aux Biches with decent food. The service is good and ambience is fair
We went there in August, the restaurant was practically empty. The waiter warmly greeted us and asked us to chose our table. The service was impeccable...food was slightly oily but the service and friendliness of staffs was perfect. The price is affordable and the vanilla flavoured rum was beautiful. Will definitely go there again.
We visited this restaurant because of Tripadvisor reviews and enjoyed the Mauritian curries and seafood soup very much. Prices are reasobnable, but they could, however, do something about the depressing fish tanks - a looked-after and colourful fish tank would really add to the atmosphere and the removal of the semi nude female pics would also make the place feel...

Really good food at really good prices. . . . four of us had a good 3-course meal for under ZAR500!
