Stayed with family in Staten Island with my husband and this place was within walking distance. Their breakfast was very good, and very very reasonably priced, especially for NYC. The coffee and desserts were absolutely to die for! My husband got a chocolate mousse, and it was so good he bought another to bring back for his grandma! If you... More

My favorite lunch at Royal Crown is a slice of their delicious Sicilian pizza ($2.50 for a huge double slice). If you have a large appetite order one of their fabulous huge hero sandwiches. They use their own fresh baked Italian bread. You're advised to share the hero, so as to leave room for one of their delicious pastries for... More

The atmosphere is good but the SMELLS emanating from the bakery in the back is just wonderful! Lunch menu abounds with a variety of choices with and without meat. Pastries are to die for!

Love this place the food is amazing. A lot of people come here for the pastries and cookies but the food is just as good. The pizza here is some of the best on the island the recommend trying the Sicilian.

Really good pastry and prepared food (the bakery/cafe and deli are side-by-side) for very reasonable prices. Stuff is fresh, well-made and the service is always friendly. Gets crowded on weekends and warm nights, deservedly, but the girls behind the counter are fast. As others have mentioned, the standout is the sandwiches. They make their own delicious bread, use top ingredients... More

The heros are huge here. I ate here two days in a row when in on business. The ham and cheese the first day and the tomato and mozzarella the second day. Both were excellent. However, the heros are large enough to share with another person. For those in the midwest - when you ask for oil and vinegar -... More

Wonderful Italian sandwiches, hot prepared foods & bakery to die for! If possible call ahead, as the wait can be quite long at lunchtime. The bakery is in its own storefront next door, but is worth a peak inside (and a purchase or two!).

Royal Crown has pastries and food. They serve sandwiches, pasta dishes, pizza, and more. During the summer/spring when the weather is warmer you can sit outside and eat. Inside is rather small and tight. The place fills up fast so you may have to wait for a table. Their bread is pretty good and if you are lucky enough to... More

Had a little bit of time to kill in this neighborhood, so we decided to drop in on Royal Crown for a slice of pizza. The rectangular shaped pizza was served piping hot on a real dish (no paper here) ... with fork & knife, to boot. The gravy was perfect, full of flavor, and the mozzarella cheese topping couldn't... Okay, I'll admit the prices are high but you really do get your money's worth from Royal Crown. If you're looking for a good sandwich head over to Hylan Blvd and stop by this place. Try a turkey, fresh mozzarella and broccoli rabe sandwich. I'm sure you'll love it.
