I gotta say this place was a nice surprise. Great St. Louis pork ribs. Great sides. Everything is made from scratch. It is much better than Dino BBQ in my opinion. The prices were a bit on the above average side. Place is really clean too.

Nothing pretentious about this local BBQ mecca. Popular for a reason. It's well run, well staffed and above all, has great food. Live music sometimes. They serve homemade fresh pies and corn bread and fresh sweet tea, fabulous salads and soups and a quintessential barbecue menu. Really good vibe. We go there a lot!
We go to Q every now and then. The food is okay - Bar Q in Stamford has much better in my opinion if you have the time to travel there. There's no ambiance at Q, it's just show up and shove it down. I do like the wash station, that's pretty cool.
Q's food and service are both excellent. The barbecue is fantastic, service is efficient and kind and the restaurant in clean.
Ribs and brisket are both outstanding. Pulled pork and chicken are also good. There are really no bad choices here ! Take out service can be a bit disorganized on busy nights, but the food is worth the wait.
Qs has ok bbq...there is a lot of hype over this place and I know people who love it. The last two times I was there my ribs were tough and wasn't crazy about the taste either. Sorry...really wanted to give it 5 star .
Excellent large chicken wings, brisket and ribs. Sides are very good as well. Pricey food but excellent quality. To die for smoked potato chips at bar! Best to go before or after prime dinner hour as it gets very crowded with families.
Kids love this place, good food and service at nicely laid out BBQ. Ambiance is nice but not over the top which is appropriate when you have brownish sauce dripping from your mouth and staining your hands.
Took the kids to Q to try their texas brisket and ribs. Kids were a bit apprehensive and had burgers and chicken -- but were duly impressed by the taste, fries and corn bread! The brisket was delicious -- could have used a bit more sauce -- and the ribs were excellent. Beans were a tad watery but very good...

I've been going to Q for years now, since it first opened after the previous restaurant 'Tamarind' went out of business. It's got it's pros and cons:
Pros: The have great BBQ. If you're interested in some good quality BBQ ribs, chicken, pulled pork, etc... then you should definitely give this place a try. They also have fairly decent beer...
