My wife and I stayed for 9 nights in Oia in october. From our hotel (Atlantida ) there were two restaurants i still remember. In the minute village Finikia across the street there was a small family restaurant called Krinaki. Top local food in authentic surroundings. We had greek salad and chicken souvlaki . Not " haute cuisine " but... More

I only give this review a "Very Good" because I don't eat meat. But my greek salad was very tasty. Funny story: My husband ordered the pork shank with vegetables. The waiter said they only had the spicy, so he said okay. Evidently the spicy is something completely different because when his plate came to the table, it was a... More

We were staying in Finikia (Ambelia - lovely apartment, btw) and the Taverna Krinaki was the nearest restaurant. I'm vegan, so potentially tricky to feed, but there was always at least one 'special' that worked for me - one day it was a white aubergine dish, another time I had okra in a tomato based sauce... Every time we went... More

It is a little bit in the middle of nowhere but be sure you have to visit it. You will not find anywhere else in Santorini this local and freshly cooked, delicious food. Give it a try, you will not regret it... More

This was recommended by a local in Athens, when asking our Motel reception to book us a cab there (It's in Finika & not Oia as this review heading states; just out of Oia, Fira side) her quick reply was there's nothing there. From a general tourist perspective of shopping & the like she's right but in amongst the township... More

We were staying near by and went to the restaurant for 4 times in a week. We really enjoyed the hospitality, the great and delicious food, the good open wines. We recommend it for anyone who wants to experience good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Tip: Baked lamb is a must order! More

We have been eating there for a few years and never get tired of the fresh and tasty home cooked food. My husband is Greek and we know what the food should taste like. They also have excellent open wine from Sigalas winery. It has a lovely view over Finikia and bakse the beach. More
