We chose this restaurant 'cos there was many people and it seems good. We have ordered 2 kirs, but the wine tasted old. In the meanwhile the waiters jeered all the customers thinking that they did not understand French, not good to see and to hear. We have ordered two menus: the first with as entrées, terrine (tasteless and fatty),... More

The day we had lunch in the LE BICORNE was extremely cold, and the restaurant gave us a warm welcome, The food was fresh and not so expensive. You should try those desserts in the restaurant.

This is a nice restaurant in terms of atmosphere and service was nice enough when we came in, and most other tables were still empty. When the restaurant was nearly full, the service went down. Finally we had to wait for at least half an hour before we were able to pay the bill. And the friendliness of the staff/proprietors... More

We debated whether to eat here based on some of the reviews on Trip Advisor. We got to the restaurant at 1845, made a reservation for 1900, which happened to be the time they opened. While no experts, we are foodies and really enjoyed the presentation and flavours of all the items we chose, which were off the prix-fix menu... More

If you plan to visit Etretat and have a dinner, you should get it here. Make a reservation in advance, otherwise it is generally full during the dinner time. Service and food both are top.

The service was good with sympathetic waiters and waitress. They have everything you'd want from a great restaurant in a cosy yet luminous room. I chose the menu at 24.50 euros with appetizer, main course and dessert. It was great. The food quantity was perfect, enough and not too much. The dishes were served at the right pace, we were... this restaurant is trying to move from a simple fish restaurant to a "gastronomique" category but they are not there yet - in the meantime they are charging high prices! They are trying hard but it doesn't work: they put the same decorations (edible flowers) to all plates but then serve "saumon avec son toast" with a single pale slice... More

I am sorry to hear about the previous writer being turned away - actually when we were there there was apparently a similar situation (we overheard a little since we sat near the entrance door). So beware. BUT! We had no such problems and have to admit the food was delicious - really, really good. So dont miss this restaurant... More

Based largely on the good Trip Advisor reviews, I booked a table for dinner at Le Bicorne for a party of 4 about 4 weeks prior to the dinner date. I booked directly with the restaurant by email and received an email confirmation, again from the restaurant's email address (with the rider that they would only hold the table for... More

We had a wonderful three course meal for €23,50. The soupe des pecheurs, marmitte des pecheurs (fish stew), steak with shallots, and chocolate cake all got favorable reviews with our group. The presentation of the food was colorful and inspiring. The restaurant is suitable for business or pleasure. Although the setting is a bit formal (young children please abstain), the... More
