On Sunday Afternoon, April 29th , three of us had the buffet. The selection was varied and nicely presented. Between the three of us we sampled all of the dishes displayed and found everything from the soup to the desserts to be very, very tasty and well worth the cost of $15 per head. We used to go here all the time until the Copperfield closed a few years ago. Since then, the Copperfield has re-opened with new owners and the Trapper's Tavern is once again open. It is still a rustic setting with the usual log interior, rock fireplace, moose heads and fire in the fireplace. They have a totally new menu, but...

We took the Saratoga, North Creek Railroad round trip, starting in Thurman, down to Saratoga, then up to North Creek (with a 3 hour stop) where we had a fabulous lunch at Trappers. The atmosphere is very Adirondacky, warm and cozy. The food was great, we relaxed with a glass of bubbly, and enjoyed our friends over a wonderful lunch....
