Great bar with a fun happy hour. A good bar scene in the afternoon and evening. The food is good and you can eat either in the bar or in the dinning room. One of the abeter place and value in the area.

Wine, beer, people, and great american cuisine with some specialties mixed in. Enjoy sports in the bar or gather with family and friends in the Adirondack setting. This place is a great value and more fun than you can handle!

I have mixed feelings about Basil & Wicks. Our first time there, the food was great; my wife ordered the salmon, i had the wild game pot pie; she loved her dish, and mine was good, but better the next day. We liked it enough to go back, and the second time we were disappointed- although they didn't look very...

We enjoyed the calamari- Buffalo style, lobster mac & cheese, and the seafood stuffed artichoke hearts appetizers. The half pound western burgers and Pulled pork pannini were delectable. Finding room for dessert was difficult, but we couldn't resist the apple walnut caramel pie a la mode and the brownie sundae. The servers( Shannon) were very attentive, friendly and quick to...

Needed a night out after hotel closed restaurant due to lack of skiers. Basil and Wicks took reservations and despite an accident (our food order was dropped just as it came to table) the staff quickly remedied everything and we had a great meal. Generous portions and pretty good quality at decent prices. Chicken Parm was enormous and very well...

Very good burgers and sandwiches with a good beer selection, much better then it's namesake had, and reasonable wine selection. Only open for lunch on weekends, Dinner is served every day, as far as I remember. Good place to stop after skiing at Gore or hiking in the Adirondacks. Can get loud with a big crowd so if that bothers...

We dined at Basil & Wicks twice during our weeks stay in North Creek. We tried their burgers, onion rings, chicken wings and salads, everything was very fresh and tasty. It was a great atmosphere and good service!

I can see and taste the effort towards Culinary excellence has Basil moving in the right direction. The Calamari done Buffalo style was great as was the Chopped salad. Cherie enjoyed her Clams and salad too....
