This is by no means a fancy restaurant (by urban upscale standards), but for Lake George, unless you are a hardcore Cordon Bleu, this is a very good dining option in the area. My wife and I had diner here on Saturday, and it was interesting enough to reserve again for the following evening. Food was constantly good, the ½... More

Bistro LeRoux is now on must list of "must do" any time I'm in Lake George. We dined on a Friday night. The place was packed. Thankfully we had called ahead for a reservation. They were full up to 8:00 but this place is worth it. We were seated quickly and the service was great. We had several appetizers that... More

We had dinner at Bistro LeRoux on May 10th and it was outstanding, perfect in every way. We ordered three shared starters, two half sized entrees, and we shared the lava cake to finish our experience. Everything was delicious from start to finish. Our server was great. Even though the restaurant was full you never got the feeling that the... More

We have driven by this restaurant a number of times, with the thought that "one of these days we will stop there". One of these days came, and we are hooked! Because we had no reservation, we were told there would be about a 45 minute wait. Fine with us; we sat at the beautiful bar and enjoyed the ambiance.... More

First time visit here with friends. Terrific meal had by all - we had the drink specials some salads (Ceaser Cobb Salad was wonderful) and dinner specials and all were absolutely marvelous. Highly recommend this restaurant if anywhere near it, the food was delicious service was good and prices are reasonable. This is really one of the very few truly... More

Interesting menu, I had veal carpaccio/asparagus salad and lamb, both excellent and lamb rare, as requested. Interesting garlic mashed potatoes with asparagus pieces incorporated. Good wine list, both by bottle and by glass. Friendly, attentive, but not smothering service. Good cocktail, good bartender. Fine dining, but not pretentious. A hidden gem; can't wait to eat there again!

First time visit and wasn't sure what to expect. Service was great and food was delicious. We had the crispy pork shoulder and salmon with clam sauce - both were fantastic. We will definitely be going back and we are so pleased that it is open year-round!

Because some of our adult children and associated grandchildren live in the Saratoga Springs regions of Upstate New York we are frequently in that area. Some years ago, we were advised by family members to try a new restaurant located at the corner of State Route 146 and Bay Road. Jacob and Tiffany Guay have a pretty darn good restaurant,... More

My wife and I ate there and the selection was good and very much liked that you could get half portions. I had the duck and my wife the Salmon special which were good and the portion size very good. Unfortunately,Then she had a very greasy eggplant and I had short ribs that tasted like a bland beef stew. The... More

After spending nine summers in the area, I couldn't believe I only found out about this hidden gem last summer. There are very very few foodie type restaurants in the Lake George region. The village has all the typical hamburger/pasta mom and pop restaurants and fast food places which do not serve fresh fish nor seafood, let alone anything closely... More
