We were leaving Inlet the day after Columbus day, and most Inlet shops and restaurants had already closed for the break until winter season begins. So we were thrilled to find Drake's open for lunch- and we had the two best Patty Melt's ever. Yummmm

A long standing traditon in Fulton Chain, home made desert were a great personal touch. Service was great
very popular place and it was very good food, but also very crowded, we waited more than 20 min to be seated and then another 20 to be waited on. tables are so close together that you had to walk sideways to navigate, and it was very hot inside. Though good, the food was not enough to keep us from...

Although service can be somewhat slow, the food is worth the wait. Occasionally, the overworked wait staff can be surly, but they're working their butts off.
I've been visiting Drake's Inn since the mid 1980's and I stop there every time I come to Inlet.
This time my wife and I were camping at nearbyLimekiln Lake and we had breakfast there three consecutive mornings and dinner on Sunday evening.
Drake's is not a New York City Steak house and it's not McDonald's.
Drake's is a homey...

AWESOME food - fish fry to die for (FRIDAYS). Bartenders are great.
After years of driving past Drake’s we finally stopped in for lunch. Going through the door was like stepping back in time. True American classic from the giant Cleveland Indians pennant to the great old photos. The people were friendly, the food was good and the prices were very reasonable. Give it a try if you are up that way.
Sorry, I don't agree with the other reviewers. We ordered the chicken parm special. Doesn't seem like a thing that is easily messed up, but the chicken was tough and stringy. They do have great sauce, so order up some spaghetti and meatballs and you won't be disappointed. I can make better chicken parmesan at home.
So relaxing...food was excellent and very friendly atmosphere!!
You always feel like your taking a chance when stopping at a roadside restaurant... I feel like I lucked out at Drakes. BLT's, fries, soup and pie was all good and the atmosphere definitely called for a beer. I stopped again on my way back.
