Whenever I can, I make a point of stopping by here for the lunch buffet, which is always fresh, varied, and delicious. Give it a try, and you'll become a regular too.
With a broad menu covering most of the typical northern and southern Indian dishes, Malabar Hill has recently improved the quality of its fare and service, and is helping to fill the gap left in the White Plains area by the demise of Bengal Tiger. Malabar offers a few excellent dishes that are rarely seen in most Indian restaurants (like... More
Been around for many years and has good basic Indian food. Nice and reasonable lunch buffet which is better (wider selection) and more pricey on weekends.
they have good menu both veg and non veg. food is okay. place is costly. they do make it spicy on request otherwise sometimes the food is just bland.
Ordered take out from here last week, and we thought the food was awesome. Everything was hot and tasty, and the Mulligatawny soup was the best part of the meal. So thick and hearty and flavorful...I couldn't wait to have more. Stopped by for lunch today and ordered just the soup to go. They might as well have put water... More

The food is good... not great, but good... the vegetable curry this visit was a bit strange as it had glace cherries and pineapple in it which we didn't care for, but the shrimp jalfrezi was good (not spicy enough, but...
