Just up the road from Fern Lodge. Good balanced menu and experienced staff. Owned and operated by the Fern Lodge owners for twenty years. New owner maintaining original ambiance.
I mentioned in my reservation that my husband and I were coming for dinner on our wedding night. We were seated in an out-of-the-way table and the entire staff was incredibly friendly! We aren't big drinkers and didn't order any wine, but they gave us two complimentary glasses of champagne. We also received two chocolates on a plate that had... More
Truly and elegant treat. Well worth the money and the drive as there is no place for miles that comes close to an experience like this!
We enjoyed three meals here during our five night stay in the area. We ate once in the dining room and twice in the wine bar. Many of the starter options were the same on both menus. Those were actually what we enjoyed most and the atmosphere in the wine bar was much more casual and lively with excellent service.... More
We have stayed here and dined in both the main dining room and the bistro-bar area.it is unconditionally one of the top Adirondack experiences. Cozy, clean, friendly and all around wonderful experience. You pay for excellent service, and they deliver, going out of their was to please. Agreat wine list, different menu in the two rooms and a great bar selection.... More
Went there one Easter, paid a lot. Terrible service, substandard overpriced cold food. Go to McDonald and have a cheeseburger and it would be an improvement.
A good place to celebrate a family event. Great wine list and good menu, but the prices are up there. Check first to make sure you aren't going to be disappointed at how expensive it is. But a beautiful setting and good food.
The menu had a nice selection of appetizers, soups, salads, and entrees to choose from. The lobster crepe is the best!
Very nice restaurant. Could use some updating but overall nice atmosphere. A bit pricey in the dining room but food is very good in the bar, too. I had a delicious dinner last time I was there except for the long black hair in my pasta.
This was a beautiful spot to stay in near Lake George. We had Room 12 and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and the room was impeccable. My only suggestion would be to develop the area by the lake a little bit - it was pretty rugged with sticks and branches everywhere.
