My Husband and I went to the 1906 Restaurant in April whilst we were staying at the Villa Roma resort. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and our drinks order was taken promptly. I had the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Ribs both courses were delicious! the Shrimp were tasty & had a great kick, the ribs were tender... More

Very quiet mid week when we visited, but worth the visit. More

We have a second home in hte area and had often heard that the food was excellent but expensive. So for my husband's 40th birthday we tried it willing to accept a higher bill for this special occassion. The menu was interesting but the food not only diasppointed but was incredibly high priced. This is not New York City (and... More

With such high ratings we were expecting above average food and experience. We eat out a lot all over the tri state area and this place is nothing more than a tourist trap. We arrived at 5:30 and the place was still empty, even so we had a long wait for our cocktails, followed by boring bread and stone cold... More

We drove about 45 minutes from our lodgings in Forrestburgh because we heard such nice things about this restaurant. I had the lamb and my wife had the fillet...both were outstanding. Add in lots of fresh hot bread and lightning fast service and this was the best dining experience we've had in a while. Thanks for a great meal! More

We went to the 1906 Restaurant on the last night of our stay at Villa Roma. I must say that the outside appearance may fool you but I'm glad that didn't stop us from going inside. The service was great and the food was out of this world! I had the risotto with shrimp, scallops and calamari and my husband had... More

Ate there once and went back a second time and had reservations for 10. They saw the children and told us they could not serve us we were a half hour late. It was Valentines day and with 3 other sets of couples we guessed they felt the children were not wanted. Would never go back or recomend. More

Very nice decor, service and food and ambience. Had Ostrich steak, buffalo steak, New York strip and pasta between us on our two nights there. Food was beautifully cooked including the accompaniments (mash etc) which was impressive. Food was relatively pricy for the area but you pay for what you get, which in this case was worth every cent. Serious... More
