Slow service, but great breakfast, great people watching. Bent Street is always fun. Check Michael's out one day and this the next....
This restaurant has indoor seating but we prefer the patio. Food choices on the menu are excellent and they are willing to accommodate special requests. Service has always been excellent. We always have great food and I recommend this place to anyone that I know who is traveling to Taos.
Fabulously diverse menu. Good service. Very pleasant surroundings. One block from the Plaza and surrounded by very nice shops. Loved the Babaganoush. Expected meat in the Crren Chile Soup, but it was greatt anyhow. I recommend this place!
While exploring Taos, we had a lovely lunch in the Bent Street Cafe. They have a large outdoor patio which was taken when we arrived, but we found their greenhouse-type area to be quite enjoyable. My husband had the Long John Dunn roast beef sandwich which was huge and delicious. I had their special chicken salad with almonds, dried cranberries... More
We have been to Taos several times over the years and never had a chance to eat there. We finally tried it and had lunch there last Saturday and we loved it! We were able to sit outside which was great! As mentioned by others this restaurant is at the end of the pedestrian area not far from the Plaza... More
We had lunch at the Bent Street Café twice. The café is at the end of the pedestrian area of shops and galleries that end at Bent Street (a block or so off the plaza). Two inside rooms and a beautifully shaded “garden” make this a very pleasant and relaxing place. There is a wide variety of sandwiches, quiches, soups,... More
I had a great lunch here - nothing fancy - beer and a sub with Italian cold cuts. It was fresh and good - and pretty large!
Nice place, off the main street (nice and quiet, although when they have live music on their patio you need to either like that type of music or eat inside). Very nicely flavored 'southwest family recipes' fare, ample portions, some interesting food combinations. Small rooms, so you'll hear everyone around you, but with the tasty food and the friendly staff... More
We were wandering around the plaza when we found this place and we really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and fast and food was good. Salads were enough to feed two and the bread was warn and delicious.
Sat outside and had a lovely lunch. The staff are all incredibly friendly and the food was delightful. I had the Mediterranean salad which was just perfect. I loved being able to watch everyone walk by, very relaxing and low key atmosphere. I didn't have dessert, but our neighbors did and the desserts looked excellent. I'd suggest eating outside, much...
