Filled with locals, this pizza/pasta place has a great outdoor picnic bench setting which is delightful place to dine on a warm evening and watch the sun turn golden the Sangre de Christos mountains. Pizza slices are huge (one will fill most peeps). There is a good selection of pastas and salads. Service is predictably very laid back, but we... More

The pizza at the outback is not your typical NY, Italian, or Chicago style pizza. It's a very Taos-hippie version, with a grainy crust, sesame seeds, garlicky sauce, and funky topping combos. I went with my mom last week and we had an awesome salad (the Greek) with their famous pesto dressing! The pizza took over an hour, due to... More

We ate here and were happy with food and service. They were very accommodating and made a (huge) slice of pizza with no cheese for my son who has a dairy allergy and did not want pasta. We would eat here again.

I love this place. It is really crazy inside and out,but the food is always great. Your kids will love it when they see the size of the slice!

I got the "slice" of Portabella - when they say huge, they mean HUGE. A great value. The waitstaff was friendly, the ambiance was homey and funky, and I loved coloring with the crayons provided at every table. Be sure to visit the restrooms, even if you don't need to, to see examples of everybody's spontaneous artwork. I watched a... More

I loved the funky atmosphere at this place. We sat at a table next to a working potbelly stove (this is exotic if you are from Florida) and there are all kinds of little kitschy touches and good music. The pies are creative, as someone said, and the salad was over-sized (my husband and I split a small). We ordered... More

Don't let the odd location fool you, this place is small, cramped, hard to find, and worth it. Creative pies - thick crust, great ingredients, great craft brew selection, good service and quaint divided seating.

Excellent place to stop in on the way back from Ski Valley. Delicious pizza and local craft beer on tap.

Many people on this site have praised the pizza but have lamented the poor service. We had the opposite experience. The motley crew that worked here offered fine, courteous service, but we found the pizza to be very bland. It looked great with the braided crust and slightly greasy exterior, but the crust was rather dry and gritty and there... More

You may find that you're waiting a long time and that when you're finally seated you're practically sitting in someone's lap. BUT! It's worth it! It promise! We had wings, salad and pizza. It was all delicious made with quality ingredients. The slices of pizza are as big as your head and they are swimming in toppings! TIP - BUY... More
