A block off Rt. 66 right in town, Jerry's was convenient for us as we waited for repairs at the Goodyear dealer just up the street. The place was completely full, apparently from the locals. The portions were large and the food very tasty, if a little on the spicy side. Your meal will likely be punctuated by local native... More

I visit Gallup often, eating at different places all over Gallup, except Jerry's. Wow! Was I surprised! Place is tiny but very, very busy. Even though the restaurant was busy, people were friendly and service was quick. Our food was delicious! I loved the chili relleno and my mother loved her enchiladas. The sopapillas were just made and delicious. I... More

great chow at good prices. don't be fooled by the appearance. we hit there for lunch time, waited a few minutes for a table, and enjoyed a local homestyle lunch. loved my pattymelt and brown gravy soaked fries. on to Roswell.

The food and service were great. The chili is wonderful we had half green and red. This is a local place with wonderful food that you will never find in a chain.

This looked like the kind of place you would pass up and if you do, you are missing some truly excellent Mexican food. It is unassuming and almost dreary looking, but the food was incredible. Enchiladas with red chiles and chile rellenos with green chiles and sopapillas with honey made for a meal to die for! It was worth the... More

So glad we stopped at Jerry's Cafe on our road trip! I had the stuffed sopapilla and my husband had cheese enchiladas. We were both very happy with our choices! We were a little past the lunch rush, so we didn't have to wait for a table although we got the last booth available. As for the peddlers...only a few... More

Good place for Mexican food. Locals eat there, so you know it's good. Very small place--booths seat only 2-4 people, and a line out the door is common. But for local color, it can't be beat. A few sellers move among the diners, but it's not a big deal if you don't want to buy. I had a good stuffed... More

A small hole-in-the wall place but good authentic Mexican food. Having lived in the area for 3 yrs. we are used to Natives selling their wares, but this was over the top. A constant flow of people in and out of the place was disrupting to our experience.
