Description: Rio Rodizio is an all-you-can-eat dining experience like no other. Sit back, relax, and enjoy this popular Brazilian, Rodizio-style barbecue, where perfectly seasoned cuts of beef, pork, filet mignon, chicken, ham, turkey wrapped in bacon, and Brazilian sausage are slow-roasted on large skewers. The sizzling cuts of meat and poultry are brought to you and carved tableside by authentic Gaucho chefs. You may choose from as many different seasonings and cuts of meat as you like. Featured meats include beef rib, top sirloin, rump steak, rib-eye steak, flank steak, skirt steak, shell steak, lamb, and more. Every meal is accompanied by homemade, traditional Brazilian side dishes and an extravagant all-you-can-eat 30-item salad bar fit for a king or queen. Rio Rodizio also offers an ala carte menu with traditional Portuguese entrees and a sushi bar where the amazing fresh sushi is prepared to please your taste buds. Also a variety of delicious desserts like freshly made cakes and tarts.

There is absolutely nothing I didn't like about this place! I had never been to a Brazilian restaurant before, but was told about the guys with meat skewers coming around. I got one plate (just one) from the buffet (which was good in its own right) and then the meat started coming. Oh my lord, I was in heaven. Turkey... More

If you haven't eaten in a few weeks, and you just love the idea of poorly prepared meats, oversalted and overcooked, delivered at long intervals on skewers, then this place is for you. If, on the other hand, you've actually tasted meat that isn't from an ox, or wasn't haphazardly stuck on a fire, rubbed in salt and then rubbed... More

WOW! This is the best description I can give for this place. My wife and I went here for Valentines day Dinner but let me start from the beginning. Parking: It is ample and free. They have two lots on either side of the restaurant. Décor: Very nice . Tables are not crowded together. Plenty of room to walk around.... More

The is Brazilian Rodizzio is one of the best in the Essex county area. Great parking, hard to make a u turn on the 21 though. Dessert selection for me is one of the best in the area. The salads are fresh, the MEAT is tasty and they serve fast. Try the pineapple which is roasted and dusted with cinnamon... More

My husband and I bought a groupon - dinner for two. After reading the trip advisor comments, we decided to go on our 31st Wedding Anniversary; that was a mistake. The temperature in the restaurant was so cold that we needed a winter coat. When we asked the server if anything could be done about the temperature, he said that... More

I ate at the Rio Rodizio in Newark on Friday August 17, 2012 with my co-workers. I was so impressed with how beautiful that area of Newark is now. I grew up in Newark and to see clean streets with beautifully maintained buildings in a bustling part of Newark is so refreshing. I remember years ago when life was dismal... More

A must try for families that loves fresh foods. The buffet has a lot of choices for everyone to enjoy. The servers need to have a lesson on serving other than that they were ok. The sangria was not up to the way I would have like it to be. Deserts were great , custard cups were nice and flakey.... More
