Went with some friends visiting NJ from Europe. Such a disappointing experience. For some reason our server took a dislike to us from the start. I asked for water with lemon, no lemon. Our bread didn't come until right before appetizers. The garlic bread we ordered was terrible - no garlic or butter to be seen. It was basically mini... More

We were in town for a few days staying in Hoboken while visiting NYC. We wanted good local food for dinner and chose Leo's after reading reviews. I will say this is the best choice we made all week. After walking in we were a little confused on where to stand because the place was so busy. We finally found... More

This place has good local Italian food. The service is local - can be crass, but sweet underneath. The meatballs and sausage are great and so are the sautéed veggie sides. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere takes you back to the days of Sinatra - photos of him are all around.

I've lived in Hoboken almost 12 years and have only been to Leo's about 3-4 times. I only live a block away now and after my last visit I don't know why I'd go back when there are better options in town (like Augustino's or Michaelina's). Average food, cold bread, colder waitresses not sure why this place is a Hoboken... More

Leo's is awesome. Best spaghetti and meatballs I have ever had, by far. Chicken dishes are good, any baked pasta dish is good. It is an old school italian red sauce place and if you go looking for something else, i guess some other people were disapointed. Waitresses are quite friendly. It can be a cramped wait at the bar... I love this place. Service is not the friendliest but has its own charm about it. Sinatra playing all the time and food is great for the price. definitely a great place for friends to meet for dinner

I would rather eat a frozen box from Marie Calendar that go back to this place. Pre frozen deep fried crap. Baked clams with all stuffing and no clam. By the way, it would be nice if you tell your guests when they order baked clams, its actually 2 huge clam shells with stuffing. Most assume you are getting 6... More

We ate dinner at Leos and we were extremely disappointed with the food as well as the service. The Frank Sinatra pasta dish with shrimp and artichoke hearts had little or no taste. The pizzas were just as boring. I certainly would not go back or recommend it.

This is a local place that is pretty much the way I remember it. Still Family owned and run. Service is great, Food is simple but delicious and the atmosphere is fun and family oriented. Remember if they are packed tell the bar tender you want a table.. it is worth the wait!

This Italian restaurant has been here forever. The bread is to die for and the food is solid. I much prefer the front of the restaurant where tables are in the bar area to the back which tends to be more family friendly. Very reasonably priced.
