Excellent service and fabulous food. Plenty of choices for the seafood lover and the pasta people. Very nice portions. We've eaten here each time we visit Cape May. Bring a hearty appetite.

Read the great reviews of this "rose" and really wanted to try. Went on Sunday night to check out the "gravy". The people who rated this so high couldn't have been Italian. Sorry....oily and heavy does not mean excellent in my book. Veal picat is not supposed to be breaded and dark fried, but delcate. The restauraunt was not terrible,...

"Unquestioned value without a trace of pretense" is the claim that Cucina Rosa makes on their website, and I concur; that's not a hollow claim.
We visited Cucina Rosa early on a Saturday night in May, and soon after being seated, the restaurant was full and walk-ins were being politely turned away.
A welcome feature of the restaurant's menu is...

My cousin and I had an amazing meal last Saturday night. I had the Mediterranean Shrimp and she had the Halibut special. Our food was perfectly prepared and the service was excellent. This restaurant is a BYO, but luckily, there is a liquor shop down the street. I am still thinking of this meal and would definitely return.
We were seated at a lovely table for two and the prompt, courteous service began immediately. The garlic aroma from the kitchen only added to ambiance. I ordered the seafood fettuccine Alfredo which was mostly lump whit crabmeat, plump perfectly cooked shrimp and juicy scallops. Heavenly! My husband claims the chicken Parmesan was the best he had ever eaten. Don't...

It had been ten years since we were last at Cape May but remembered eating at this place. After reading recent reviews, we had not concerns about going back. The place is fairly small, reservations even during off-peak times are highly recommended. The pasta her is good - not great. The pasta itself is over cooked and they gave me...

Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Make reservations definitely. Has some outdoor seating which is great for nice nights. Byob. Hubby and I always go here when we're in CM
You will NOT be sorry if you eat here!! The food is amazing! It's a bit on the pricey side, but if you are a foodie you will NOT be disappointed! We both had the "small plates" which gives you a smaller portion. It was pretty late at night, 9pm, so we opted for that after the Christmas Candlelight Tour...

Appetizers: Wonderful! Generous portions along with an excellent North Jersey bread and some spicy peppers that my husband devoured. The lobster bisque is among the best I've ever had. My husband had crab cakes and was equally impressed.
Main course: Very good. I had the shrimp scampi from the smaller portions menu, and still couldn't finish it all. Although I...
