Definitely overrated. The quality of the baked goods is fair to average and the prices are way too high. The staff wasn't too pleasant...act like they are doing YOU a favor.

I have been coming here for many years. while I don't appreciate paying $4.99 for a large circle of dough with cinnamon and sugar - they are positively addictive, hands down the best pastry ever. Am hopeful they will come back after hurricane Sandy as they are a local institution, high prices or not.

We remembered Crust & Crumb from many summers, years ago. Their success has gone to their heads. I ordered 4 sticky buns and 4 bagels and paid almost $ 20. Too much dough for dough.

Great Selection. I personally always go for the Elephant Ears, but they have so many other choices including red velvet cupcakes and delicious cookies. You can't beat the location either. This bakery is an LBI fixture for years. Consistently good baked goods. Large selection. Custom make cakes and other goodies. Their crumb cake is great! Some items are a bit pricey and their coffee is terrible (go across the street to Coffee Bouteque for good coffee), but the store is definitely worth a visit.

we picked up a bday cake for my nephew while on vacation...it was phenominal! I am a cake lover and connisseur! I even picked the last piece out of the trash...it did not deserve that and now my sweet tooth owes my butt an explanation. :)
