Group of six. On a work trip, took advantage of the expense account. We ordered the stuffed dates and lobster-butternut squash ravioli as appetizers...both were VERY tasty. They had a lamb chop for their nightly special, so we all ordered that, but they only had enough for five, so I ordered the skirt steak with chimmichuri sauce and was not... More

First several local friends suggested Brazo as the place to eat in town and to have the Brazilian rim drinks. Correct on both accounts. The drinks although $10 were worth it. The food was ample and well prepared. I had a sampler and my coworker the fish taco both of which were exceptional. For the main I had the BBQ... More

Went to Brazo, Saturday eve. Reservations highly reccomended! Sat promptly, greeted as well. Nice ambience, apps were tasty. Dinner was good, had the paella, really small portion, though. My wife had the filet, great portion, although pricey at $34. Our biggest diappointment? The reasoned we returned to Brazo was their more than excellent Tres Leche cake. I knnow, it seems... More

I have been to Brazo on several occasions and each time has been great. The pork confit is extraordinary! Also don't miss out on the fish taco appetizer. Food is a bit pricey but it is absolutely worth every penny. Service has been attentive and friendly on each of my visits as well.

This place has plenty even though some who are picky will have to take a minute or two to select off the uncomplicated menu. The Steaks, Chicken and Seafood were ordered by us. We all sample each others stuff. Each selction was perfect. The service was the best with attention given to each individual and not just to the party... More

My wife and I ate at Brazo a few nights ago with some friends during the 2013 Restaurant Week. I had never been to Brazo, and we were so happy that we will absolutely go back. The prices are a bit shocking when you open the menu, but the quality and service make it worth the experience. I enjoyed an... More

Brazo is a nice choice when you want something a bit different from what the rest of Portsmouth has to offer. The food is good, but expensive. Limited menu so not the best for picky eaters.

Took advantage of the Restaurant Week three course meal for $30. What a great deal. The food in general had a lot of flavour complexity. The drink special, a mojito ingles, was well thought out and not overly sweetened. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sides were all delicious. Manchego mashed potato, bacon sauteed green beans, and horseradish-garlic crema.... More

During our one night-stay in Portsmouth, NH, we were recommended a few fish restaurants but we wanted to venture instead. During a stroll on the restaurant area we came accross Brazo which seemed inviting from outside, and boy were we in for a culinary surprise. For the dinner specials we paid $25 for a thre course-meal and the appetizers and... More
