I drove for over an hour to take my wife to dinner there for her birthday. We walked in at 8:15 pm and the hostess informed us it would be 45 minutes until we were seated. After a few minutes we saw a few people leave and then a table of 10 leave. No one was cleaning the tables. The... More

The staff was very nice at the restaurant. I had penne with vodka sauce which was a little too heavily sauced but tasty. My spouse had fish and chips which was good with (it looked like) hand cut fries. The drinks were good and so was the service. It was a Friday night so the place was packed. Clearly locals... More

Nothing like enjoying a meal out on the patio on a lovely spring evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very accommodating! Can't wait to return!!!

Even tho my stay at the best western was terrible the meal and drinks I had at Waxy's was good. Love the Onion Rings and the burger. The burgers looked hand crafted

I've eaten lunch here twice. I had the Guinness Stew and the Shepherd's Pie. Both were good. I would eat here again, but they are not at the top of my list on that stretch of Winchester Street.

This is the first time I ever was unable to eat the meal given to me. I ordered the ribs, and they were charcoal burnt, the meat tasted like shoe leather. When the waitress came over to ask how things were I said not good, this is burnt, and I can't eat it. She offered to bring me something else,... More

We were stuck in Keene for business and out of sheer laziness ended up eating several meals at all different times while staying at the attached hotel at the end of January. We kept wanting to like it, but were ultimately disappointed. Food: Extremely hit or miss. The first night I had the most amazing steak tips. Ordered them again... More

Wow they have good food, great people, reasonable prices, and after hours is very fun. They are the one who has the four stars. But the hotel (Best Western is nasty)

I went here to try the food and enjoy a cold beer. The owner/bartender was friendly enough and the food was satisfactory. Overall it felt like a personal experience and not just another ticket at some franchise restaurant. I was staying at the Best Western so this was convenient being connected. I rate Waxy's a very good because I left... More
