it was a terrible experience.. First, there were flies on the window where we were seated. Then the server came and asked me to stand up so that he could catch the flies. Second: the menu had no description of how the lamb was be prepared. When it arrived, it was not like a piece of meat, which I expected,... More

My friends and I had the most amazing birthday Dinner. There was no bad choice made, all the choices we ordered were delicious. Gluten Free is hard to find and even harder to prepare. The chef and staff are wonderful..

We recently spent a weekend with friends in Reno, and I had to pick the restaurant for one night. I turned to TripAdvisor and found the 4th Street Bistro, which sounded good and had gluten-free selections to boot. Our party of 6 all thought the food was superb, the service great and timely, and the ambience was pretty good too!... More

Make sure to call for reservations. All of the food in local as much as possible. I can't say enough about the owners who visit and are truly interested in your experience. The pricing is a bit on the high side but what you get is very much worth every penny.

Going back next week. Had the best foie gras and filet mignon of anyplace I have ever been. Hoping next week it is just as good. Menu is creative but not over the top. The small boutique cottage restaurant atmosphere fits it perfectly. The service was wonderful. I have only 3 or 4 restaurants in all of reno that are... More

We are locals and keep coming back after tryng other places and being disappointed. We have never had a meal or even a single item that was not great. They do seasonal, creative dishes that are delicous. It is not just adding fancy ingredients that sound impressive as some places do. They can have fancy ingredients but they are done... More

We always appreciate the culinary artistry here. A special treat. Impossible to save room for dessert, but do it anyway.

Since moving from Reno this is the only restaurant I miss. The service was fantastic and the food local, fresh, and creative. I ate here several times a year and was never disappointed.

No trendy gimmicks, just excellent gourmet bistro food: beautifully prepared flavorful dishes, fresh quality ingredients.

One of the best meals I've had in my life. The location seems a bit of the beaten track, but ho cares. The fois gras is ridiculously good. Go for the full boat. Apps, entre, desert, wine. Mortgage your house if you have to.
