May 26, 2013 at Approx. 1:30pm. While in the Las Vegas area with my dad, my dad decides to announce that he's starving and short of a few 'all you can eat' buffets, I had not idea were to stop. Well, I just love my papa and I would hate for him to starve... so I sprung into action. I... More

We visited the black bear diner for breakfast. I thought the food was good, prices good, but it was just the buzz and the atmosphere. Felt it was a million miles from the Las Vegas style places, more family traditional, and locals using the diner. Very welcoming and an experience we all enjoyed. I have to say we took trip... More

In 1995 I tried the black bear diner in northern diner. I didn't like it then, but when one opened in Torrance, I thought since they now had over 50 branches, I would give it a try again. I glad I waited this long. I didn't miss a thing. Average pot roast, below average mashed potatoes, poor vegetables, average muffin,... More

During our stay in Vegas we ate here twice. Love the Bear decor. The food was very good to and you get a lot for the price. Prices were not very bad at all for a Vegas restaurant. This is not on the strip but not hard to find. Thanks Black Bear.

We went here the last time we were in Vegas and loved it then, so on our return to Vegas we made sure to visit this place again and yet again it didn't disappoint. Super friendly staff and great homely atmosphere, we met the owner and he was great. The Breakfast's are definitely the best thing on the menu, although... More

I had the sweet cream pancakes and a homemade bear claws. Both were very good. Food is good, portions large, great service, and reasonably priced.

My wife and I visited here for dinner with our 2 young boys. We really liked the mountain atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service, great food, tempting deserts, and good kids menu. The Tripoint steak is like beef brisket and was wonderful!!

A great respite off the strip. We had steak dinners cooked exactly as ordered(with generous portions). Good veggie sides with friendly staff. We will visit again and have breakfast next time we are in Vegas. Join their e-mail club for great deals.

What a find!!!! It is way off the strip but worth the drive. Home cooked meals at their finest. The chicken pot pie is great. Homemade meat loaf is like i make at home.
