This is our third visit to Julian Serrano and we are never let down on the culinary experience. I agree the environment is a bit loud but it has do to with the sheer popularity of the place. It was packed last night. The mood is vibrant and exciting. The staff are consistently gracious hosts and we truly appreciate the... More

Most of the staff seems like they don't want to be there. Food was okay, best was the tuna but everything mostly average. Paella was salty.

I trued this restaurant on a Tuesday night thinking it wouldn't be too busy. Wel it was! And really noisy too. We were sitting about 2 feet across from each other & couldn't hold a conversation. The place echoes with noise. The tables are virtually glued together so no privacy. It's tapas so everyone is looking at others plates to... More

service was VERY slow and unattentive. waited almost ten minutes for a menu. nice looking room but really no atmosphere. i had an "early bird" special for $39. everything was just average and almost a bit too salty. the dessert was fine. best thing hands down was the white sangria. sorry i wasted one of my 3 dinners here.

If you're looking for excellent quality tapas type dishes, you can't go far wrong here. We've eaten here a few times - but first time I've reviewed. The food is simply superb - faultless. The wine list too is very good, but I would have preferred a hard copy menu rather than having to scroll thru the tablet we were... More

I dined there during my last business trip (April 2013). I went there to try their Paella, but unfortunately I had to share (it is a large plate for two). So I decided to go with tapas and ordered the black rice and chorizo. Both were magnificent and quite filling despite my initial thoughts. I had two glasses of wine... More

I had a glorious experience at Julian Serrano for a late dinner. I sat solo at the bar and enjoyed four different tapas and Spanish wines (great selections by the glass, which is harder to find than it should be). The bartender was friendly and helpful with wine pairings. The bar and dining areas are warmly decorated and inviting. I... More

It's hard to have much when you're just two, and it's even harder to make choices! Everything was very good, bordering on great. The goat cheese stuffed dates were yummy, but you only get three. The mussels were perfectly cooked and the broth lovely - and a relatively large portion - just wish bread came with it. The albondigas -... More

We got a bunch of dishes to share (tapas style of course); seafood cerviche, lamb, meatballs, raspberry tuna, potatoes, oxtail, and churros and donuts for dessert. The favorite dishes for the table were between the bacon wrapped dates and the oxtail. Mine was hands down the bacon wrapped dates. I'm not even a huge goat cheese fan, but we ended... More
