This place is the best for a great greasy burger and handcut fries.. Always made to order and pricing is the best!
My gramps used to take me through the Kings Hat in the 60's in his old pick up so I have to give it a 10. Such a busy place and the first old style drive through in Billings. Food is good and greasy and yummy and a great value. I miss it!
I've love'd going to the King's Hat for as long as I can remember. I moved from Billings nearly 20 years ago but I still have family and friends in Billings. Each time I return to Billings I make it a point to stop at the King's Hat and grab a few flying saucer burgers. The King's Hat is a... More
Kings hat has homemade fries, great little flying saucer burgers and other delights.
I rate it a toss-up between King's Hat and The Burger Dive for who serves up the best burger. King's Hat is strictly a drive-in and the line of cars can reach epic lengths at times, but as long as the line isn't too long it is worth the wait. The fries are great also.
If you are looking for a taste of authentic Billings' history, look no further! This little treasure of old fashioned drive-through is the place to go. I have been eating at Kings Hat for as long as it has been open. I have always liked it BUT today we ate there and the sloppy joes are Horrible. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? Make them like they used to be .PLEASE.
While the place is a fixture and is very popular it must be because it is cheap. The burgers themselves are substandard unless your expectations are similar to a 15 cent burger from the early 1960s
Love the shakes!
