“Not our favorite place in mid MO”

We've tried Tonanzio's off and on for several years and never found it a place that is anything special. Food is pretty common as is service. If you are freaked by eating among walls of mounted animals hunted/killed in his safaris around the world, this might be the place for you. It's not for us.

I had always wanted to try this place for years, but after finally visiting, I can say I will never be back. I was looking forward to trying all these exotic meats, only to find that the menu only had alligator as an exotic meat! And that came so breaded and deep fried that it had no taste.
