I happened to stop by Two Sister's Kitchen as I was passing through Jackson because a friend had told me they had great fried chicken. I asked the hostess if that was the case and she told me it was the "best fried chicken in Mississippi." That seemed like a bold claim at the time, but after eating several pieces... More

We were referred to the place by a police officer at the capitol when we asked for a great local restaurant serving on Sunday. It was just a short walk to the place. The house is tired looking and we were a little unsure. We put in our name and looked over the buffet which smelled awesome. After a short... More

Two Sister's Kitchen is a favorite for the downtown crowd during the week, and a popular restaurant for the after church crowd on Sundays, when the line is out the front door for the buffet. You are immediately greeted at the front door with the buffet line, which has an assortment of foods that we people down South call homestyle... More

Two Sisters is located in an old two story Victorian style home just a block north of the Mississippi State Capitol & MS Supreme Court and other state offices. So there is a good bit of foot traffic at lunch. I've eaten at this place off and on for the past 10 years. I go there for lunch now about... More

Food was just ok. Definitely not worth the price or the risk of eating in such a filthy place. The dining room was scary dirty. We did not risk the bathroom.

We visited the Two Sisters Kitchen, whilst en route from New Orleans to Birmingham, based on its Trip Advisor and Man v's Food reviews. The restaurant is a self serve buffet, and all of the food was really good. In particular, the chicken, and the spaghetti. We arrived just in time to catch the end of the sitting, so there... More

Our second Sunday lunch at Two Sisters and it did not disappoint. It is not haute cuisine, the plates don't match, and you may have to pick your way thru the crowd, but it's still a smokin' good place to eat. The building which houses Two Sisters could have come from the set of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane -... More

This is lunch dining must when you are in Jackson, MS. Two Sisters' Kitchen is open only for lunch and features a southern cooking buffet that changes daily. As mentioned in other reviews, the restaurant is a converted home with dining available in just about every room and out on the patio during good weather. The food is truly magnificient,... More
