Trapani's was on the Bay long before Hurricane Katrina, a favorite haunt of locals and tourists alike. The food was exquisitely prepared and the atmosphere was festive with a great view. But that all changed when Katrina wiped Bay St. Louis off the map in 2005. Fortunately, the Mississippi Coast is resilient. The 'Eatery' came back in a temporary location... More

This is Mississippi seafood at its best. We had the fried green tomatoes topped with crab meat and hollandaise sauce for an appetizer, then flounder stuffed with crab dressing and panneed trout topped with a shrimp and crabmeat sauce for our entrees. Everything was soooo good. The house drink is called the Calypso Martini, which is basically pineapple marinated in... More

We used to eat here pre-K. It's nice to see they made it back, still in the same location. Atmosphere is nicer now and food was just as good. They aren't reinventing the wheel here, just offering good seafood and pasta dishes.

Had a day to explore on a New Orleans getaway, friends suggested Bay St Louis. Mississippi is about as different from New Orleans as you can imagine, (yet only an hour away) so we were very pleasantly surprised at Trapani's. Wonderful staff, good food and great view. Took a stroll on the rebuilt beach. Nice to see how these places... More

Good food, good service, good prices. Trapani's Eatery is right across the street from the beach and has nice outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and attentive, my ice tea glass was never empty! I will eat at Trapani's again.

The charbroiled oysters weren't bad but the bread that came with it was between freshly sliced and toasted. Growing up we called this "stale". Our poboys were good but the bread was in the same condition. Great tartar sauce and homemade onion rings. We'll have to come back for dinner and some of their nicer dishes.

My wife, two friends and I recently visited Trapani's in its rebuilt location on the bay. The place looked great. We had Cuban sandwiches and the Fried Shrimp PoBoy. The Cuban was excellent and the Shrimp was piled high and well cooked. Trapani's is Back!!! Service is a little lacking. We were there after the noon rush and service was... More

Atmosphere was wonderful. Service was great. Our servers suggestion was spot on. The portions were huge. We started out with spinach, artichoke crab dip and fried bow tie pasta. Yummmm. Followed by ....blackened red snapper and angel hair pasta that had just the right amount of zip and a fresh off the boat crawfish salad. When they came out with that... More

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch at Trapani's Eatery. The decor and facility were very nice. Lovely tabletops and art work. The service was very good and the food was delicious.

My daughter and I ate here during our visit and it was neat. We started outside but then the wind picked up and so we moved inside. The atmosphere was nothing like we'd been in before so that was a neat experience. The only flaw that way was the sea food smell was VERY strong. So if you aren't a... More
