More than just a typical bar food - gourmet burgers, sandwiches, etc. Beer flights and vast number of micros on tap. But the service? ALWAYS slow, ALWAYS barely civil, ALWAYS bad.

Food was ok but the place was LOUD, and it was only half full. I can't imagine going there and having a conversation with anyone when they were full.

It's basically a burgers and hot dogs kind of place, and beer! The beer menu was huge!! My burger was good, my boyfriends was Amazing!! He had the talamook and bacon. The tots are also amazing! Or service was excellent also!

Great food and a great selection of beer on tap. The atmosphere is very nice, not too stuffy but not filled with rowdy 21 year olds.

Went to this bar with a group of friends. The beer list is outstanding! I took a look at the menu and they have some interesting items that all sounded good. The jist is bar food. If your in the area and want a cool place to hang out and grab some grub this would be the place.

During my first trip to MN, my co-workers took me to their favorite lunch time spot: THE BULLDOG IN LOWERTOWN and it was AMAZING! They have an eclectic selection of hot dogs, 5 types of tater tots, french fries, nachos, cheese curds, sandwiches, bakes, etc. It's everything from bar food, to awesome appetizers, to comfort food. They actually have a beer menu. Lots of beer on tap (no generic stuff) but good quality stuff. Don't like beer? They do have a full bar. Excellent food. They take tots to a new level. I have never had a bad meal here and I go quite a bit.

We eat here a lot when downtown St. Paul. I've never had a bad experience.
