Was in town on work and stopped for a couple bakery treats and they looked wonderful. Order up an Apple Fritter with Raisins and a Danish with Cream Cheese total cost $ 3.05. On so delicious the Apple Friter was full of raisins super and my gosh was a treat having a real Danish. SUPER!

I feel bad calling this an average or very good bakery. I'd love to say it's excellent. Because the service is so above average, it's amazing! As a long distance mom of a Carleton student, I wanted to send our son a cake or cupcakes for his birthday each year. Here's the amazing part: I would call Quality Bakery, order... More

We loved the Bakery - we bought fruitcake which was just delicious. We took it to the Cannon River Winery and had it with a glass of wine. The scones and cranberry pecan crimp bread were the best.

Everything we tried was delicious, the iced chocolate brownie-cookie, the chocolate donuts, the apple fritters, and their cookies. Very friendly, helpful, and informative customer service. We were made to feel like friends, not strangers. Would definitely return.

The good food with reasonable prices, with a lot of historical attraction near by! Make sure to check out all the local shops! Spend the entire day. Lots to see..

Beware, the name is a misnomer. Crappy ingredients and even worse service. I've try this place every few years and they are consistently bad in every way. There's not much here that you couldn't get in a crappy grocery store.

Seemed like other small-town bakeries, and needed a place for tea, biscotti and to listen to a conference call. Tea was fine (it was bottled). Cardamom biscotti was very poor - was underbaked and had an odd oily scent and taste. Also, at one point I bit into a unmixed blob of what I think was baking powder; I was... More

Seeing the filthy windows and door should have been the first clue. Looking at the dirt and grime in the display window should have beed the next. Unfortunately we went in to be treated so rudely for not making a decision quickly enough that we left with nothing. Northfield is a beautiful town and deserves a real downtown bakery. The... More

This is a one-in-a-million bakery. First of all, the windows are full of treats decorated for the season or holiday, as well as the occasional wedding cake. The smell of warm bread and pastries envelopes you the minute you walk in the door. Then begins the deliberation over what to purchase; there are so many categories to choose from -... More

Got some cinnamon here - so tasty! You don't need to toast it or add butter, it's just amazing alone. Everything in the store seemed very fresh and the bread was super soft. Definitely a treat!
