Their soups are excellent - but sometimes they run out before I can get there. Excellent pre-made salads. Breads are delicious !! I wish they sold the bread along with the cheeses. The blue cheese is quite sharp for me so a little goes a long way. It takes awhile to be waited on. I sat at a table, didn't... More

I was blown away by the Cheese Cave. Each of the cheeses I sampled there were absolutely amazing.....from the bleu cheeses to the gouda. I brought some home and added them to some of my recipes. The CG-1 was DELICIOUS on it's own, or melted on a turkey burger with wilted spinach. It's also quite good sprinkled over a variety... More

This small treasure offers a limited but interesting food selection. Great cheeses and charming atmosphere.

Limited but interesting food options, the tall male employee is beyond rude, arrogant and disrespectful. Both to customers and the younger shorter man worker there. I would have canned his but along time ago. Not a good impression, but great cheese and nice wine.

Quaint bistro with good wine and cheese selections. Bar for sampling and large display cases of lots of yummy cheese.

I used to work here. They were closed down and then reopened under some of the old employees. The cheese is the best. It has won awards and if you can get a tour - take it. The caves go on forever. Many happy memories.

They feature blue cheese and hand out samples of everything. We had a blast shopping and picking up various cheeses to take home. You can also enjoy a sandwich, soup and coffee. This is a fun little spot to grab a quick bite before attending a play at the Paradise Theater across the street.

my brother asked me to stop there when he found out where i was staying for the night. great food. great cheese. friendliest service imaginable. the cheese alone is the best reason to stop in faribault if you are on the road. bring a big extra cooler so you can buy lots of cheese. they make some of their own... This is a great little local spot. We stopped in on a recommendation from a local resident and we were not disappointed. In addition to being a cheese shop with a wonderful selection of local and imported cheeses (try their signature Gouda, its outstanding), it is also a very appealing modern cafe featuring cheese-based menu items (like grilled cheese, mac... My spouse and I stopped in for a drink and dessert and of course, to check out the cheese. The gift shop area of the establishment was attractive and well displayed, the staff member who provided cheese samples was extremely well informed on each cheese that we tried. The bread pudding that was ordered was big enough to be shared,... More
