This was my first taste of a pasty. We ordered one chicken and one beef. They were very good! I liked them both, but if I went back, I would get beef. I like that there was a vegetarian pasty offered, my sister is vegetarian and would've been able to eat here if she had been with us

My family and I were traveling through Munising to visit Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We decided to try pasties after passing many signs advertising them. We tried both the beef and the chicken. These are HUGE! We made the mistake of ordering one for each person and it was double the amount we could eat. The pasties are stuffed with... More

The U.P. has many pasty bakers. Some are assembly line style and taste like cardboard. Muldoon's breaks the mold. Veggie, CHicken, beef, dessert pasties, they have it all.

It does not matter when we head up to the U.P. We have to head to Munising to have some Pasties at Muldoon's. A must. I like the beef but we have tried all thru the years. you will enjoy

My wife and I were recently up in the U.P. for a little vacation and the house we rented had given us a gift certificate for 3 pasties from Muldoons. I have had pasties before, my mother is a yooper, and these were the best I have ever had. I ended up eating all three myself and brought home another... More

Our first and last pasties. They close at 7 and I got a beef and a chicken pasty, both with gravy, and a cole slaw togo around 6 for us to share. They must have been sitting in the heated case all day and when I took them out of the paper bag, the top layer of pastry peeled off.... More

Um, not sure why this isn't the top-rated place to eat in the entire UP! The pasties were being made fresh right in the restaurant (well, it's more like a little store) - we had pumpkin pie pasties for dessert and the beef pasties for our main dish. The crust was buttery, flaky, and perfect - the fillings were warm... More

Only our second experience trying pasties, but these were delicious. Generous sized - we split a chicken and an apple pastie between two and had plenty to eat. We had arrived late in town, near their closing time and the clerk said if the closed sign was up, just knock on the door - she knew we were coming!

More of a gift shop than restaurant, the pasties are made fresh and were very enjoyable. I'd recommend having gravy, though my fiancè prefers them dry. Most people treat Muldoon's as a carryout place, as seating is extremely limited.

Was up in the U.P. last week and stopped by in the morning on the way to Marquette, we both had the beef pasties, with gravy, outstanding, the crust was perfection. They said they would have pumpkin pasties later, so on the way back from Marquette we stopped back and split one, wow, truly amazing.
