Bravo ranks with the top restaurants of Kalamazoo and has been for many years. I have never had an item that wasn't excellent. My 10 year old grandson tried a new appetizer and told the waiter to "Give my compliments to the chef"!

The food is all very good, the bar our favorite place to eat there. The house brewed beers are a nice addition to an already special place, but if you don't have room for dessert after your meal, take something home for later. Their pastry chef is phenomenal.
This restaurant has been around for many years and still maintains the inviting atmosphere and great quality food. One of the first to have wood fired pizzas! I love the whitefish and house salad.
If I lived closer I would eat here more often. The food here is one of the best in town. Very fresh. The staff is attentive and nice. They have a nice party room too. My husband and I have had some cooking lessons here too. My mother in law, who is a huge food critic, loved the food here.
We went as a family on a weekday night.... The service and ambiance was good. We all ordered wood fired pizzas....Mathey were good but not incredible. Mthe used too much cheese which made the pizza a bit heavy and almost soggy vs crisp. I liked the topping options provided. The kids size was also good. The house salad with goat...

We both ordered pasta dishes and were not at all impressed. The sauce tasted like processed cheese food was the main ingredient. Service was efficient, not memorable.
Sorry you were not happy with your pasta selection. We do grate fresh cheese and handmake many of our pastas from scratch. I hope you will try us again

I thought for this may be part of a chain... But no it's owned by two chef brothers! We've been several times now and never been disappointed. I love their mushroom soup (with wine & cream) and the bravo salad with goat cheese! The entrees are equally wonderful....not your run of the mill Italian.
Love Bravo! Try the microbrews, Adam does a great job with these. Can't go wrong with the Shrimp Scampi or really any of the entrees. Make sure to save room for dessert.
I prefer restaurants that appreciate my business. At Bravo, it's the other way around. I come away feeling like the staff had to lower their standards to serve me. Food tends to be more on the overdone side rather than juicy.
Food is fine, but not outstanding. Good atmosphere and relaxing place to go. Worth checking out but don't expect too much.
Thanks for the visit. Always nice to have our Battle Creek neighbors stop in.
