This place is the gathering spot for the town. Businessmen, exercise buffs, tourists, school kids, merchants, and more seem to gather here. Many animated conversations. Nice selection of coffees. Cakes, etc., seemed way too commercially made; nothing to say "wow" about.

Nice quality local coffee shop. I would go here any day over Starbucks. I pay the same at both, but JPs just tastes better.

Best coffee in Holland. Cookies are good too. JP's is a great place to meet friends to just hang out for a while. No rush. Or if solo it can be nice to sit in the window for some people browsing. The location is super convenient for downtown activities like Tulip time parades.

This coffee shop has long been a favorite, but I've been going less due to the long, slow lines in the past couple of months. We used to see 2-3 baristas making coffees and 1-2 taking orders, but lately we've seen just one making the specialty coffees; so frustrating. If you aren't in a hurry the coffee is very good.

We always try to staff "appropriately" to insure customers don't wait any longer than is reasonable for our business. Sorry you had to wait longer than usual. We did have an extremely busy year and the best holiday season of our business, so while we are thankful for being busy, we also realize we always have things to work on....

When shopping downtown and in need of a break - JP's is the place to come. During most hours of operation they have a variety of soups as well as baked goods. The House Blend - aka Jack's Blend is a nice mild brew - or there are plenty of signature drinks to choose from if you're in the mood...

This place was started before the coffee craze really hit. the owner teaches barista classes for anyone. the different drinks are very good. JP also blends his on coffees. nice place to relax or gear up for some holland shopping

Neat place. Barris-ta training going on with specialty cream designs. They have good pastries and the place was filled with people enjoying the atmosphere.

I ordered the drink of the day. It was a pumpkin coffee with white chocolate and an extra shot of espresso also had the chocolate biscotti. I loved it! Dd had a mocha latte she was not impressed. My Ds had a hot apple cider with a shot of cinnamon syrup. That was very good. The service was rather slow.

Thanks for giving our "fall festive drink" a try. Glad that you enjoyed it. Just as a point of information, our mocha's are made with Ghana single origin chocolate, whereas our hot chocolates are made with Hershey's. There is a definite difference in the taste profile and it may be that your friend may prefers a mocha made with Hershey's...

No chain this. JP's serves up good coffee, properly made, in a warm atmosphere. Nice energy to the place on account of Hope students. Looks like a great place to meet up and even study!

Besides a good cup of coffee, JP's offers bulk coffee and tea to purchase as much as you'd like. The also sell all the coffee and tea supplies you could possibily need.

Thanks for coming in! Although I wish we carried more stuff we do currently carry about 30+ whole bean coffees and 20+ loose leaf teas. Our stock rotates weekly and is always fresh. If there is ever anything you need that we don't stock we'll either get it for you or help you find it.
