I think if we ended up going to the location on Fulton, instead of the store on Langley, we might have had a better experience. A half sandwich means half the filling. Good food, you'll eat more than you planned! But so worth it. Desserts are homemade, too and we've never left without taking one for the road!

I love this place!! My favorites are the Italian hoagie, and the California rueben. They use fresh and tasty ingredients, and they don't skimp. Very good deli food and friendly staff. A favorite lunch spot for locals. Their sandwiches always hit the spot when I'm really hungry after biking around town.

This place is a gift to Grand Rapids! You cannot go wrong with a Schnitz sandwich. The combinations are flavorful (such as the Black Russian: the Schitz makes their own corned beef and adds Swiss cheese, onions, Russian dressing on dark rye--fantastic!) and the sandwiches are huge. big. always consistently good sandwiches. esp the roast beef on sourdough with that horseradish sauce. i could - but don't - eat it daily!
