This local gem is located on Rte 140 between Wrentham and Franklin. If you like a good, hearty cup of coffee and a sandwich that leaves you happy, this place is worth the drive! I had the turkey club on gluten-free bread which was THE best I've had in my 50+ years! My husband had the ruben on hearty marbled... More

Saw this place on phantom gourmet ad had to see while on vacation. Again he didn't let us down. We were told it was worth the 20min wait by other people waiting and it was. Great pancakes (maybe the best I've had) and the hash browns were the best hash browns ive had by far. Great value friendly service and... More

Always fantastic for breakfast. Line is long on weekends but well worth the wait. Wide range of breakfast items including crab cake eggs Benedict's, waffles, biscuits and gravy. Staff is always friendly. An absolute gem in Wrentham.

Tried this place on Sunday, the 18th of March. Had been seen on the Phantom Gourmet by a friend and thought husband and I would try...great hash skillet...too much to eat at one sitting, so took rest home...husband had scramble with sausage. He is very picky and thought James' was excellent, and said we would definitely return. Best thing, only... More

Heard about James Breakfast and more on the Phantom Gourmet so I decided to give it a try even though it is 20 miles from my home. As you can see from my pictures the meals are huge, colorful and scrumptious. Everything was over the top yummy and hot. The hostess who is the owner was friendly and courteous as... More

James' Roadside Cafe is a wonderful hidden gem. Delicious food & excellent service for a great value. The staff is extremely charismatic and friendly, more than willing to go the extra mile to make you smile. The breakfast is the best I've ever had. I ordered the cast iron killer, and yes, after I was finished, I was a full... More

This is a hidden gem on 140 right between Franklin and Wrentham. The portions are large and filling as well as scrumptious! You can select from breakfast or lunch, which I love because everyone can pick and choose which meal they are craving. The service is always friendly and helpful. I think my favorites are the Double BET (Bacon, egg,... More

This is a place we really wanted to like. It presents itself as a premium/upscale/gourmet breakfast and lunch spot. It was recommended to us by my daughter and son-in-law who really love it here. It's got a very interesting interior decor in the front section and the wait staff is very polite and generally efficient. Parking is easy and the... More
