After an afternoon visit to The Clark we stopped for a drink and we stayed for dinner. Hops and Vine is actually 2 places in one. A beer bar and casual dinning room on one side and a wine bar and a more upscale dinning room on the other. Wine, beer and mixed drinks and menu is available on either... More

Eleven of us ate dinner at Hops & Vines. The menu selection was interesting and different. There was a great variety, the meals were well prepared, and beautifully presented. Every plate looked great and the sauces and vetegables looked and tasted like they were prepared by an accomplished chef. These were fancy meals with a variety of flavors. Portions tended... More

While I relish the comfort food of my childhood on return trips to the Berkshires, sometimes I just want something better than a hotdog. My husband and I love Hops & Vines. The patio is wonderful on a summer afternoon. The beer and wine selection is great- probably the best for miles in these quiant western MA villages. It's not... More

The service was sloppy, the food truly awful, and the bill expensive at Hops and Vines in Williamstown, Massachusetts. We called ahead to make a reservation for dinner and were told no need and dinner would be served until 10. We arrived at 9 and were told 'well you can eat if a limited menu is ok'. We accepted that... More

We have been there a few times and the tap selection is always interesting. Dinners are usually good but a burger is overly fancy and not that great. Also, watch out for the apple crisp, it was so salty that it was unpleasant to try to eat. I wanted to look over my shoulder to see if someone was playing... More

We were looking for an early dinner/late lunch. It seems that 4-4:30 is too late/too early. We choose this resturant because the serve dinner at 5pm, others were 5:30. We were seated at 4:30..LOL. Waiter was Shasa, who is orginally from Rusia, and he appeared whenever needed. Two Dinners had Salmon and said it was great. I decided on having... More

I had previously eaten at this restaurant this past Spring and it was fine. This Saturday's meal was like one of those Gordon Ramsay disaster shows. It was a disaster from after appetizers through dessert and billing-actually through two days later when I found that they had billed my card more than double the cost of the meal. We waited... More

Hops and Vines is a beautiful restaurant with great food. It is a little bit of everything with mess tables in one part, outside dining and a beautiful room for that special meal. You can go often or you can go for that special occasion.

So my first experience last year, I wasn't super impressed. I returned last evening. I'm GLAD I did. I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere. I had dinner in the Hops side. There were 16 beers on draft and the wine selection was wonderful. I started off with the mussels appetizer that was to die for. Followed by mac and cheese and... More
