We go here a few times a year and only because we have so many resturants that we frequent. This resturant has great appetizers to the main menu. The are known for their twin lobsters. The staff is great and friendly. The atmosphere is a older resturant with booths surrounding tables in the center. Its lighting is dimmed for that... More

While visiting the Boston area a couple months ago we dined here with a recommendation. We found te wait staff to be very friendly, well-mannered, well dressed. We were surprised at the great value and prices on the menu and the food was great. Absolutely loved to puff-overs. #1-Friendly Server #2-Awesome Price #3-Great Servings #4-Great Food. Thank you.

The restaurant feels rather old fashioned and dated. Large place with a busy bar in an industrial part of Boston near the water, rough neighborhood, not typical picturesque -- but like going back in time to the 1950's. Real people Boston. Much more interesting experience than many of the limp over prettified fancy places in downtown and Cambridge, and the... More

Used to go there for lobster, however last time we went, lobster was small and much more expensive than before... Not sure we will come back though! Hope after all the renovations on that area, they get their act together.

In short: My girlfriend ordered Filet Mignon. First it came out raw, then it came back microwaved grey. But the real kicker. They decided, without telling us, to substitute Hollandaise sauce for Béarnaise Sauce beacuse they ran out of Bearnaise. Then the manager tried to blame our waitress for not noticing. So when I complained about the bill - including... More

Every time I go back to Boston there are certain places that I have to visit... Many of them do not live up to the memories I have, but this is one place that always gives me what I expect and more. Go with a group and order the twin lobsters as "side dishes" like I and my friends did... More

You don't come here to impress or get impressed. The key word is comfort: comfortable food, comfortable seats, and a laid-back atmosphere. If you're a Somerville local who feels alienated by the establishments in Davis Square, this place is more in your comfort zone. You won't feel old or ridiculous or that your accent is too "townie". The food is... More

We were looking for an authentic local seafood place and this was definitely what we were after. Old-school neighborhood atmosphere, very casual, very excellent and friendly service. We got the twin boiled lobster special (stuffed) with garden salads and a glass of wine for $45. The lobster was fresh and outstanding. The staff was friendly and even knowing that we... More
