Had to write a review when I read 'like having a bit of the north end in Shrewsbury'. I expect a little more when I go to the North End, not standard american-italian fare. Amici is not for the portion-control challenged either. Quantity never will replace quality, yet so many places try that strategy. Would love to take over this... More

My wife & I met friends for a late dinner the other night. Everyone raved about the food - entrees were delicious and plenty big - about half of us took some home. The hand-crafted pizza, which they were very proud of, was excellent: grilled thin crust and delicious pesto, sliced tomato & mozzarella toppings. Risotto and gnocchi were reported... More

Wow. If you like Italian go to Amici. If you like a big (did I say big? I mean abondanza big!) go to Amici. If you want a very fair price and great service in a truly bistro.... scuze me.... trattoria, go to Amici.

Cute little intimate setting for an Italian meal-family or couples. A small bar offers seating for a salad or pasta dish or pizza.

Its so difficult to find good Italian food in the suburbs. You won't find it here either. Its only average, and its way overpriced. If you want good Italian at a fair price, try Boston. If you're not to particular and you don't mind being overcharged, this place will do.

Great pizza and entrees. Large portions served also. The downside is that it is a small restaurant and it gets noisy. So either go early or late and avoid the crowds at normal meal times. The food quality more than offsets the noise.

Great food that goes beyond the red sauce. They source their desserts from Wholly Cannoli in Worcester. Try the dynamite stick - you won't regret it.

Food: good taste for the area, but certainly not authentic Italian dishes. My wife likes it here, so we've been back more than once Location/parking: it's off the beaten path, next to what I'm told is a good, but also pricey steakhouse. there's limited parking at the side of the building Service: the waitress was OK, but we didn't get... We have been eating here since we found the place two years ago on a regular basis. The restaurant is very cozy and nicely decorated. It is similar size to a north end Trattoria. It is usually just the 2 of us so table size is not a problem. Our party of 6 last night sat at the one larger... More

We had hoped to eat sushi at a nearby restaurant but even at 6PM there were no seats at the bar. We walked a short distance to Amici Trattoria and are so glad we did! Our server was excellent! Drinks, appetizers, salad and dinner all were served effeciently but with enough space between courses so we did not feel rushed.... More
