Having had Steve Herrell's ice cream since the beginning, when a student at Tufts University, and Steve just started out with his amazing place in Somerville... I can say with good authority... having tried them all over the years... this is the BEST!

Was in Northampton on Monday and stopped here for dessert. I had a dish of chocolate with the mousse-like whipped cream topping. Wonderful! My date had the opposite - vanilla with whipped cream! Again, another wonderful choice!

Some of the best ice cream you will ever find. Totally fresh and delicious. Wonderful hot fudge. Great Sundays, freshest ingredients. Pricey for ice cream but worth it! Treat yourself, you be glad you did!

I've only been a few times, but Herrell's doesn't disappoint. In fact I've only been to Northampton twice in my life and I've been to Herrell's both times. Fun service, good ice cream and great people watching. Don't neglect the milkshakes menu - so very, very good.

So many flavors, so little time! High quality ice cream in a place with a Northampton vibe. We never visit Northampton without a stop at Herrell's. My favorite flavors are sweet cream and key lime cream.

I love to eat here after a long day in north hampton. It can get packed right after dinner but it is worth the wait. Yummy!
