I attended a work function for two days at the Meadowview House located across the street. I stayed at Cranwell the night of Wednesday 4/17 and decided to eat at Sloan's this Wednesday night. I have written nearly 70 reviews and NEVER named anybody by name in these reviews until now due to my service being so poor. Service -... More

Sloans is very convenient when you need a quick dinner before the theater in the summer or want to linger at Cranwell and sit in the sun and enjoy lunch. The restaurant overlooks the golf course. The service can be variable but is generally friendly if not a little slow. I am a healthy eater myself and always find that... More

We found the lunch menu to be a little disappointing. We would have liked to see more fresh, healthy and home made options.

It was REALLY empty when we were there but the waitress was still unattentive. Food was just pub food but maybe it's better when it's hopping.

I swung through Sloan's Tavern for a quick lunch between spa treatments. I was really disappointed with the food which my fellow diner and I found to be completely lacking in flavor. Who knew it was possible to disappoint with pub food? I also expected a cozy tavern atmosphere and was equally disappointed on that count. On the upside, our... More

Good food, good atmosphere. We have been here several times and the food is always good. The perfect place to eat when staying at the Cranwell.

Great Food and great view! Friendly atmosphere and the service is excellent. The burgers are hefty as are the other entrees. It's a very classy place to go for an inexpensive meal!

By far the worst dining experience, regarding food (service was very nice), I can remember having. First ordered spring rolls, which had to be straight from Sam's Club Costco. Not that Sam's/Costco are bad, but you expect these to be homemade at a restaurant. Then wife and I ordered the special of the night, fish and chips--expecting nicely battered fresh... More

We were looking for a low-key, casual spot for Thanksgiving and this seemed to fit the bill. According to local Thanksgiving round ups online, they'd be serving a special turkey dinner for those who did not want the full-blown Cranwell buffet. We arrived, entered through a hallway that looks the the entry area for the bathrooms, which it is. Then... More
