What a great deal, stopping and getting polish food while walking on the bike path. The owners are always cheerful. The food is great. Very different selections, asparagus pierogis?? It is down home polish cooking in your mother's kitchen atmosphere.

I ate here today with my girlfriend after reading such great reviews. I think my expectations were a bit too high, as I imagined that the food would be very inexpensive. To be fair most menu items were under $7, so many things were cheap. However, the periogis were 3 for $4.25, and there was no discount if you ordered... More

We stopped for lunch on the way through Massachusetts on I91, and we're happy we did. Sophias is located only a few minutes off the highway, but it's far from ordinary. The decor is fun, the owner and her helper are very nice and the food is great. Everybody in our party enjoyed the experience.

Sofia's is a great little Polish restaurant. It is located right on the bike path between Northampton and Amherst--perfect for a stop while cross country skiing in the winter of biking in the summer. The food is traditional, home made Polish fare, freshly made and delicious. On Wednesdays there is a special selection of pierogies served that range between traditional... More

The staff at Sofia's makes everyone feel like they are most welcome to their Polish kitchen. Often you can see them working together to make their pierogi and other specialties. The food is ethnic cooking at its best. Polish food and Sofia's can be hard to find but it is definitely worth the trip..

We stopped here on a rainy afternoon. The place was warm and inviting with the smell of food enticing you inside. The sampler plate was wonderful, traditional polish food cooked to order. Easy access right off I-91. I will recommend to many friends and family.

OK, so today I'm riding along the Norwottuck bike path for the first time (moved to the area recently) and I see a sign that says "Pierogi, Ice Cream, and More!" Sadly, it was only about 10AM, which is a little early for ice cream and pierogi for me. But I thought, in an hour or two when I'm on... More

I am from the Boston area now , but grew up in Western Mass. I know what real Polish food is supposed to taste like,as I grew up in a Polish family. I've tried different places in Boston..nothing can compare to the food at Sophias...the pierogi's are the best (don't tell my aunt)..The prices are excellent and the atmosphere is... More

My family and I stopped in for a birthday lunch (tried it for the first time) and were absolutely impressed. Delicious homemade polish food, and such a cozy little place! Everyone was so friendly and it was almost like family. I highly suggest the polish plate; includes 2 pierogies, a golumpki, very tasty kielbasa, a side, (Go for the Kapusta,... More
