The Brass Buckle is exactly what one should expect when one great local grub in a small town. There is nothing pretentious about it--just well-prepared food that show the personal touch. If you are stopping near Greenfield and want a hearty breakfast or a satisfying lunch--or just an iced tea and a place to read a newspaper, look no further.

First let me say this. I am NOT a fan of Mexican food. That said, I have to admit that the Brass Buckle was much better than I thought. My wife and I and my son and his wife had breakfast at the Brass Buckle. My wife and I had relatively non-Mexican fair, but my son and his wife went... More

If you're traveling through Greenfield, MA, you must make a stop at The Brass Buckle restaurant on the corner of Main and Chapman Streets. The food is awesome and I have never tasted biscuits like the Buckle's anywhere. I had mine as a breakfast sandwich but I could have eaten them plain. They are homemade, of course, and are so... Good food, prompt service, friendly atmosphere, good value. Had Cowboy breakfast sandwich and Slow and Low Ham Plate. What made these dishes special? Scallion sour cream on the Cowboy. Dynamite pear chutney on the ham plate. Generous portions, still full four hours after. Choice of breads - the multi-grain is wonderful. Also had coffee and latte - again, even the... More

Love the sandwiches, free wi-fi, oatmeal whoopie pie (big enough to share) and sitting at a window table watching Greenfield go by

Try the BBuckle for bfast, coffee or lunch. I had their Chicken Tortilla Soup Special & loved it. My son had the Cowboy Bfast Sandwich & inhaled it. Each dish is made by hand by folks who know their business & care.

Great food and personable owners at the Buckle. I've had a number of dishes her, including their Buckle sandwich, several of their breakfast sandwiches, the corned beef hash, their coffee, and a few other items. They also make their own biscuits......good luck beating those puppies. Every now and again, you walk in to the smell of roasted hot peppers or... More

Interesting, fun, fresh, friendly. Order at the counter and they call your name when its ready. Anika, the owner is usually there taking orders and making it hum. JD is in the kitchen preparing the eclectic southwest inspired menu items like fresh red and green salsas, tongue tacos, and fresh pickled green beans, all reasonably priced.
