Thank the Maker that an authentic seafood house still exists. A Mom & Pop diner that does it old school, and so right. Fresh, fresh, fresh. Portions are huge. Prices are cheap and the food is fantastic. Chowders, Tuna Tips, and Scallop Salad are standouts. Happy staff, happy patrons. Drop everything and go, just go.

This is one of our favorite stops when in Gloucester. The food is great, huge portions, staff are friendly, and the price is average for the area. Parking can be tough and the line can be long but it's worth the wait. The clam chowder was so amazing!

We have had clam chowder all over Maine and Mass and keep thinking we will find some as good as Causeway's. Not true! Theirs is the best. Also great are baked haddock, fried haddock, and especially grilled swordfish tips!
