I've only been for breakfast... but have always enjoyed it. While I wish I'd been around in "Miss Flo's" time, even in her absence they still serve up some mean breakfast platters. Waitstaff hit and miss, but don't you expect that in a diner? Look out the window and aside from the closed-down 70's era gas station across the way,... More

I grew up in Florence, a village just west on Route 9 from the center of Northampton, MA. The "Miss Flo" has been a mainstay of the Florence community for years and years. Just park on the street of Rt. 9 or in the back of the diner. Step into something that is really Retro. --and then order a hearty... More

Miss Florence's Diner has been a staple in the Pioneer Valley for years. It was great, then it was less-than-great - and now it's great again! The family that owns it does a great job of sticking with dependable diner food, and gives it a bit of a twist - making it better. Breakfasts are fabulous and a thrifty bargain,... More

My favorite place for breakfast. The service, food, price is all what you would want from a real true american diner.

The decor, menu and waitresses bring back the golden age of diners. Prices are very reasonable and the food is typical diner offerings. Good place to show the kids where people went before fast food restaurants.

Good homecooked diner food. Owner woman is a bit surly.

those of us who knew the Miss Flo from the 60's seem to think it's changed since the new ownership... Still, you can get a real diner meal in a real diner here, and I like that!

The slogan says it all. This place feels like it hasn't changed much since it opened as a lunch cart decades ago. It's a typical American greasy spoon diner with booths and counter seating. Go for breakfast. HUGE portions, amazing pancakes and free coffee retails. Lunch/dinner isn't as inspiring, except for their giant milkshakes. If you make it there on... More

This is the real deal. An old railway car set up as a restaurant in 1941 in a small town in Mass serving classic American food in American sized portions. Many of the fixtures and fittings look original including the juke box selectors at every table. Even if you just go for a coffee it's worth it for the atmosphere,... More

First, let me say I have a soft spot for diners. I love them, love the food. However, I've been to some bad ones, some okay ones, and some terrific ones. The Miss Flo is one of the terrific ones--at least for breakfast and things like sandwiches. The pancakes are yummy and huge. Omelet's are large and stuffed. I also... More
