Superb Italian fare; pasta is the way to go here. Beautiful decor, w items imported by young owners from their native northern Italy. Best Italian restaurant in Falmouth, hands down, no contest. Charming bar.

We weren't looking for something special, but we surely found it! It has a lovely cozy atmosphere, with several small rooms, all decorated for the holidays. The wine list was chosen with care to be easily paired with the food order. All of us had homemade pasta and loved the texture and taste. Mine ravioli was stuffed with wild duck... More

Explored Falmouth on a beautiful sunny Cape Cod Saturday. Osteria did not open until 5:30 pm, but we were allowed in early and had a drink at the bar. The bar is rather small, but they had a very good wine menu. We all selected a different red and shared - nice way to try different wines. We started with... More

Nice location, friendly service, food a letdown. Main course came very quickly and had obviously been cooked beforehand and reheated. Very disappointed. Could it have been the chefs night off!

We visited on a Thursday in early October. Two other restaurants in the town were full and had queues awaiting a table. This restaurant had lots of tables - not usually a good sign. But we were very happy with the food. The food is authentic Italian of a style we have enjoyed in many osteria in rural Italy. The... More

This past weekend I happened to pick up a copy of edible magazine which profiled Osteria. Decided tonight was the night to go out and try. The restaurant totally reminded me of the restaurants in Italy. Smaller, homey and a feel that it is hard to describe. It was not a busy night and we were seated immediately, a nice... More

My wife and I had a lovely dinner sitting in the bar area. This is a small local restaurant and the food was super. I'm not a food expert but the two dishes we had were very good and we'll go back the next time we are in Falmouth.

Hands down one of the best Italian meals I ever had...and that includes Italy, NYC, and San Francisco. Be sure to order one of the handmade pastas and the tiramisu. Pair that with the lovely ambience, and it was a perfect experience. Highly recommended!

We spend a few weeks in Falmouth every year, and Osteria La Civetta is the one restaurant we return to visit each season. The staff is pleasant, atmosphere is very nice, and we really enjoy the food. Fresh pasta, fresh fish, and local ingredients remind us of restaurant we've visited in Italy.

This restaurant brings us back to the family run restaurants we loved in Florence. We love trying whatever specials are on the menu and have not been disappointed. The pasta is heavenly. They have a nice wine list and the service is wonderful.
