Reasonably priced, locally caught seafood is the highlight of this small restaurant. In warm weather you can eat outside at shaded tables. The portions are large and reasonably priced! My favorite is the Scallop Alfredo. They also have takeout.

We have been here 3 times. The first time we was pretty impressed with the quality and quantity but had a strange after taste. Went a second time, less food on the platter, still ok quality. We tried it again and now The Fisherman's Platter is mostly fish and fries with maybe 6 scallops and 4 shrimp for $25. It... More

Service is very good and the seafood platter is delicious and more than enough, piled very high in your plate!

Mermaids is nearly always filled with diners. The owners have quite a following and the restaurant serves both seafood and Greek dishes and offers outdoor seating in good weather. Depite the fact that you are in the middle of the CVS plaza parking lot Mermaids has created an "oasis" with palm trees and a troplical feel. The seafood platter is... More

Great little place for lunch. Ordered fish and chips lunch size. Dinner portion must be huge because I could not finish mine. Nice light batter and fish perfectly cooked. Sister had clam cakes and chowder - very tasty both! Quick and friendly service. We will return!

I was doing business in the area with my boss and we stopped by Mermaids for a quick lunch. If I had been on my own I would have probably turned away after noticing the stale grease smell and somewhat dingy carpets, but my boss was hungry and craving seafood. Their menu is quite large for such a small place,... More

my girlfriend and I went in for a light lunch. We shared the clam chowder, fish and chips and a crab roll. I asked when looking at the menu if the crab was real, or surimi fake crab..I was told it was real...well it was very tasty, but not real crab. The chowder was excellent if you like a thick... More

Very standard menu. Standard food. Nothing special but it did appear to have some regulars so maybe it's just me that didn't love it.

If you have not been to Mermaids you don't know what your missing. We have been there several times and it just keeps getting better. First the atmosphere: Warm, inviting, friendly, clean and just a nice place to dine. Value: First you start off with fresh bread, oil and garlic. Then apps....the calamari was tender, cooked just right and plentiful.... More
