Stopped by few days ago for lunch and bloody Mary's. Drinks were good. Had the clam chowdah and it was very good. Good amount of clams not watered down, good flavor. Good quahogs. Very reasonably priced. Going back for dinner and will review that.

Good basic eats. Much of the menu is fried. Be warned that they do not have air-conditioning. Yikes!
Small little local place with bar and restaurant. NO AC and it was HOT when it was in the 90s. Limited menu, but best food we had. We went back twice. I tried clam chowder at EVERY restaurant and Wooden Shoe was the best! The quahogs were smoky flavored and delicious. My husband had steamers once and the lobster back....

At the hotel we saw an ad for The Wooden Shoe that stated "Try us once and we guarantee you will return for more!" It also claimed to be family friendly and affordable. Really? Was I at the right place? We had an absolutely awful experience and I will never return. I can't believe the positive reviews on here- I...

I've never had scallops so fresh in my life.. they also have a clambake special which is lobster and steamers which looked delicious and will probably get that next time we go back.. for those who...

In a world of high prices and tourist gouging lies this oasis of old Cape Cod. Good food, great owners and staff and low prices. Bottle of Bud $2.75-Large draft Bud $2.74-Well drink $4.50. You can't match those prices on the Cape. GO
Very small place, seems mostly locals go there. This was a fantastic find on our trip! The food was amazing, quiet atmosphere, and greatly affordable!
The clam chowder was the best we ever tasted to the point where I had to threaten my friend to stop talking about it. We also went back the next day to get 3 bowls to take home to CT with us. While the lobster roll wasnt bad I was disappointed due to the type of lobster roll we are...

A dive bar with great lobstah, steamers and chowdah with a good bar for a great price. If that's attractive to you, this is your place. If you consider a nice atmosphere, a casual joint with nice people, solid service and great fresh seafood, this is your place. It was ours and we recommend it. The bad review on fish...
